…Let me introduce you!
Monica Gaga is a London-based, British-born black African queer improviser, facilitator, host and scripted actor and performer.

Monica trained in Community Theatre at East 15 Acting School, and her boundless love for improv stems from time spent at Second City in Chicago.
She regularly performs improv across the UK with her duo ‘Derek’s Mojo’ and ‘Do The Right Scene,’ as well as producing and performing with 'HELL YEAH!' an all queer, female improv collective of London's hottest improvisers. These days she’s doing lots of improv online. Follow her on Twitter for announcements of upcoming shows you can watch from home!
Teaching and facilitating for over ten years, and frequently facilitates Hoopla’s Beginners Improv Course and Do The Right Scene's Crash Landing, a BAME Improv Class.
Monica also travels across the country delivering workshops on character, diversifying improv and inclusive playing, bespoke classes, and her FLOW workshop - a practical workshop designed to empower you to level up your improv so you Feel it, Love it, Own it and Work it.
When performing, hosting or teaching, Monica is championing diversity in improv and trying to get as many people, particularly POC, involved as possible. She has a Facebook group specifically for improvisers and future improvisers who identify as BAME/POC can share awesome stuff.
